Help with TubeRecon.
TubeRecon is a local-first Chrome extension for analyzing outlier videos on public YouTube channel pages. If you need help installing, using, licensing, or reporting a bug, contact us by email.
What to include
- Your Chrome version and operating system.
- The TubeRecon version shown in
chrome://extensions. - The YouTube channel URL where the issue happened.
- Your YouTube display language, if view counts were not parsed correctly.
- A short description of what you expected and what happened instead.
Common issues
The panel does not appear. Open a public YouTube channel's Videos tab, then reload the tab after installing or updating the extension.
Not enough videos are scored. Click "Load more" to scroll deeper into the channel archive. TubeRecon needs 9 prior videos before a video can be scored.
View counts are not parsed. TubeRecon supports major YouTube UI languages, but locale formats can change. Send the channel URL and your YouTube language so we can add coverage.
Privacy
TubeRecon does not send your channels, watchlist, exports, or scan history to a server. Read the full privacy policy.
